Description
Yūichirō Mansaku hails from Inakuni Island, where he played soccer on a local team until coach Fuyukai Suguru disbanded it. When workers arrived to demolish their field, he prevented teammate Inamori Asuto from confronting them. The next day, after consulting his father, Mansaku journeyed to Inazuma Town with Asuto and others. They resided at Kogarashi Manor and formed Inakuni Raimon to represent Raimon Junior High. Their debut match against Seishou Gakuen ended in a crushing 1–10 defeat.

Mansaku stands tall with a muscular build, neck-length brown hair, blue eyes, and a signature lock of hair beside his left eye. He always wears a white cap featuring a blue flap during matches and casually. His typical outfit includes a white shirt, a bright yellow jacket with white stripes on the left arm, navy blue pants, and blue shoes.

Known for his affable and caring nature, Mansaku acts as a dependable advisor, especially to Asuto, balancing encouragement with practical aid. His agility and leg strength, developed through training in Inakuni’s rugged terrain, make him an exceptional defender. He leverages his speed for rapid defensive plays and ball recovery, standing out as his team’s most agile defender and a skilled interceptor.

Against Teikoku Gakuen, Mansaku advanced offensively after analyzing their strategy, though his shot was blocked. Later, he saved a goal by stopping a weakened shot with his knee after Twin Boost breached Umihara Norika’s Uzumaki The Hand, securing a 4–3 victory. For the Seishou Gakuen rematch, coach Zhao Jinyun assigned Mansaku to Inabikari Training Center, where he mastered the Spark Wind dribble. He used it to evade defender Yagihara Katsumi and score a looping shot, contributing to a 5–4 win.

Selected as a defender for Inazuma Japan in the FFI, Mansaku acknowledged his hometown would watch. His father later viewed the broadcast proudly. Eager to face international opponents, Mansaku felt intimidated by Spain’s Clario Orvan but deemed it natural.

During Asia Preliminaries, Mansaku defended against South Korea’s Red Bison, where Park Ji-won tackled him and Lee Seung-jin countered his Spark Wind. At halftime, he observed Goujin Tetsunosuke’s warm-up with mild embarrassment and later expressed confusion when teammates prioritized rivalries over teamwork. Against Australia’s Shining Satans, he started benched, questioned Ichihoshi Mitsuru’s intel amid unusual opponent behavior, and noted coach Zhao’s calm despite conceding. Versus Uzbekistan’s Eternal Dancers, Mansaku joined stamina relays, reassured nervous debutant Takashi Iwato, and initially struggled defensively with Iwato and Kazemaru, leading to a 2–0 deficit. Captain Nosaka Yuuma’s return spurred the team, and Mansaku executed Ouja no Takt for a 4–2 win.

Substituted in against Saudi Arabia’s Arab no Hinotori Gundan after injuries to Kazemaru and Fubuki, Mansaku passed via Spark Wind to assist Japan’s first goal. He and other defenders were overpowered by Driblaze and Andreas Bebo’s Burning Hinotori. At halftime, he noted Ichihoshi’s odd behavior with concern. Post-match, he supported Ichihoshi’s decision to stay, emphasizing team unity.

Before facing China’s Soccer Zatsugidan, Mansaku observed their unexpected improvement. He reassured Ichihoshi during a meal about restraining himself. With Asuto, Iwato, Goujin, and others, he approached China’s coach over similarities to Zhao, though the coach denied any link.
