Description
Tae Hanazono is the lead guitarist for Poppin'Party and a third-year student at Hanasakigawa Girls' High School. She masters guitar skills honed since elementary school, playing a signature blue ESP Snapper guitar purchased with earnings from part-time jobs at live houses and music stores, including SPACE before its closure and later venues.
She lives with her parents and 20 pet rabbits, some named after guitarists like Les Paul and Jimi Hendrix. Tae is deeply devoted to her rabbits, refusing to eat rabbit-shaped foods and knitting handmade outfits for them. Her other interests include hamburger steak, red-bean soup, running (excluding marathons), working with clay, and taking long baths.
Tae possesses a relaxed, airheaded personality, often operating at her own pace with an optimistic outlook. She surprises others with unexpected musical observations and quirky habits like comparing people to rabbits—such as likening Arisa’s twin tails to rabbit ears—and affectionately calling one rabbit, Odd-Eye, her "boyfriend." She occasionally invents blended words like "Rosepa" (Roselia + Poppin'Party).
Initially shy and isolated, the Poppin'Party members became her first acknowledged friends, despite a childhood acquaintance with Rei. Rei later recruited Tae for Raise A Suilen, causing her to temporarily split loyalties and miss a key Poppin'Party performance. Tae ultimately reaffirmed her dedication to Poppin'Party, composing a gratitude song for them after leaving Raise A Suilen.
In Garupa Pico, her airheaded traits are accentuated through absurd suggestions, like bringing rabbits onstage during concerts. Physically, she has gentle green eyes and waist-length dark brown hair with choppy bangs, including a distinct section covering her right ear. Her fashion incorporates mature feminine accents like sheer fabrics and gems across seasons, with later outfits featuring rabbit motifs.
Trivia includes her "puppy eyes" persuasion ability and participation in collaborations like A Certain Scientific Railgun T, where her design mirrored Saten Ruiko. Real-life ESP Guitars produced replicas of her Snapper model.
