Description
Marcus Lithos, a blonde-haired man, endured profound tragedy before his involvement with the Shoshidai. A car accident claimed his parents and sister, leaving him paraplegic and abandoned by his girlfriend, who later pursued his closest friend. Plunged into despair, he accepted the cursed Azoth Sword—a blade harboring Beelzebub, a demon bound by alchemist Paracelsus. The artifact restored his mobility but fractured his mind, granting shadow-manipulation powers while eroding his free will.

Initially serving as Shoshidai’s Chrysalis under mentor Naoki Miki, Marcus clung to kindness despite Azoth’s corruption. Counselor Aya, secretly Shoshidai agent Mina Haraya disguised as his former lover, became his fragile tether to morality. The unraveling of Shoshidai’s lies—concealing Miki’s termination and Mina’s true identity—shattered his psyche, triggering a violent metamorphosis into the Busoma. Azoth and Beelzebub consumed his consciousness, eclipsing his humanity.

As the Busoma, Marcus unleashed brutal carnage, tearing off Mina’s face during a fatal confrontation. Mortally wounded, he pleaded for “Aya” to marry him, his dying words echoing unresolved yearnings. His death sealed a tragic arc from grief-stricken survivor to weaponized entity, destroyed by institutional deceit and intimate betrayal.

Interactions with allies and adversaries exposed his vulnerabilities: fractured trust in Naoki’s guidance, manipulated devotion to Mina’s facade. The narrative wove themes of eroding loyalty and the corrosive price of wielding cursed power under systems prioritizing control over compassion.
