Description
Glory Suiryō, a fortune teller, spends her summer as a guest at the Harunoya Inn. She bonds with Okko, inviting her on a mall trip. When Okko suffers a panic attack triggered by a flashback to her parents' fatal car accident, Glory comforts her, offering support as Okko shares her story, aiding Okko in managing her grief and anxiety.
Glory engages in activities like drinking champagne on the terrace and swimming naked in the inn's hot springs, fostering conversations. She acts as an older-sister figure to Okko, contributing to her maturation by providing guidance through challenging emotional times. Later, acting on a premonition, Glory arrives to console Okko during another breakdown after Okko learns the identity of the guest responsible for her parents' accident. She witnesses the Kise family preparing to leave due to guilt and observes Okko inviting them to stay, upholding the inn's principle of accepting all guests.
Glory attends the Shinto spring festival, watching Okko perform the ritual dance. Her role remains that of a supportive and perceptive figure who intervenes at key moments in Okko's emotional journey concerning loss and reconciliation.
