Chiaki Horan is a Japanese actress, television personality, and news anchor who has also performed voice work for animated projects. She was born on September 28, 1988, in Tama, Tokyo, to an Irish father and a Japanese mother. She is affiliated with the talent agency Amuse Inc.. Horan began her career in entertainment as a child model at the age of five and officially joined her agency at fourteen.

Her on-screen acting debut came in 2005 with a role in the Super Sentai series Mahou Sentai Magiranger. She has since built a prolific career in Japanese television, appearing in numerous dramas such as My Boss, My Hero and Mei-chan no Shitsuji, and later becoming a well-known news anchor for programs like Nスタ (N-Star) on TBS. Horan graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University with a degree in English and American literature, and she spent a year studying drama at Oregon State University as an exchange student.

While acting in live-action productions remains her primary focus, Horan has taken on several notable roles in animated features. In 2018, she provided the voice for the character Glory Suiryō in the anime film Okko's Inn, based on the novel Waka Okami wa Shōgakusei!. Her involvement in anime continues, with a recent casting announcement for the 2026 television anime Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix-, where she is set to voice the character Onatsu. Her filmography also includes a role in the 2014 live-action film adaptation of Black Butler.
