Floris is a 15-year-old magician and member of New Light, a four-person pseudo-cabal reserve army serving the United Kingdom. Specializing in Norse Mythology-based magic, New Light was commissioned by Princess Carissa to locate and excavate the lost Curtana Original, supporting Carissa's revolution against the British monarchy. Floris participated in this coup driven by fervent patriotism, believing protecting her country might require temporarily becoming its enemy. She possesses white skin, blonde hair, and wears a customized New Light uniform: a sports shirt with a draped jacket, spats under a miniskirt, and distinctive small dragon wings on her back. These wings function as a spiritual item enabling flight, which she often uses to extract teammates from danger. Personality-wise, Floris exhibits serious dedication beyond her years, frequently assuming leadership within New Light by directing mission preparations. Her strong patriotism drives her willingness to harm others or act as an enemy for the UK's protection, though she prioritizes survival over dying bravely for a single mission. Her magic centers on Norse traditions, primarily Seiðr—a form of sorcery practiced by women—allowing her to create and dismantle illusions affecting both the brain and direct vision. Like all New Light members, she wields the Steel Glove, a spiritual item combining three legendary artifacts of Thor: Megingjörð (strength-enhancing belt), Gríðarvölr (destructive iron staff), and Járngreipr (iron gloves). This grants enhanced strength, destructive power, and the ability to "grab" and manipulate any tangible or intangible element—from large solids to fire or dust—before hurling or swinging it at opponents. During the British Royal Family Arc, Floris drove New Light's car toward London to deliver the Curtana Original. While acting as a relay point in London, Kanzaki Kaori intercepted and defeated her, hurling Floris over 20 meters into a sign. Later, during the British Halloween uprising, the Knights of England imprisoned her on a Folkestone-bound train with restraints intact, intending elimination post-use. Kamijou Touma discovered her; after confirming his non-alliance with the knights, she requested his help. He destroyed her restraints using Imagine Breaker, alerting nearby knights. Forced to jump from the moving train into a shallow river, Floris used her dragon wings to slow their fall, surviving impact but developing a lasting grudge against Touma due to the peril. After Queen Elizard distributed the Curtana Original's power via Union Jack, Floris and New Light collectively decided—via magical communication circle—to oppose Carissa's self-destructive actions despite earlier collaboration, aligning with resistance forces. Her resentment toward Touma persisted beyond the coup, leading her to vow to "kick that Japanese guy’s ass" during World War III. In the Railgun SS2 spin-off, she appeared in a North Gate store break room, assisting Mikoto Misaka and Lessar against Caliche's group. She rescued Lessar from a giant wheel snake construct and aided in its destruction, relayed information about a stolen component of Code EIC, and attempted to restore phone lines. New Light later detected the Curtana Original's location via a spiritual item signal while preparing to depart by charter plane.
