Aruruu, younger sister to Eruruu and granddaughter of Tuskur, resides in a rural village. Initially displaying extreme shyness, she often hides from strangers and speaks minimally, particularly around newcomers like Hakuowlo. This shyness lessens after Hakuowlo demonstrates kindness, such as sparing the baby tiger Mukkuru, leading her to adopt him as a father figure. Her central bond with animals is marked by the ability Yaana Mauna, allowing her to understand and communicate with creatures like Mukkuru and the mikyuum Gachatara.
Following Hakuowlo's rebellion and the founding of Tuskur, Aruruu matures significantly. By *Mask of Deception*, her physical appearance evolves: she grows taller, her eyes change from brown to yellow, and her attire reflects a more formal status. She undertakes messenger duties alongside Camyu, traveling to Yamato to establish diplomatic relations and locate Kuon, whom she helped raise. Her personality shifts from withdrawn to actively protective, especially concerning Kuon, exhibiting suspicion towards individuals like Haku if she perceives threats to Kuon's well-being.
During the Yamato invasion of Tuskur in *Mask of Truth*, Aruruu participates in wartime logistics. She coordinates supply lines with Mukkuru while Camyu creates diversions, demonstrating strategic responsibility. Her relationships remain pivotal: she shares a close, sometimes scolding bond with Eruruu; views Hakuowlo as a cherished parental figure; and regards Kuon as a younger sister, reflecting her ongoing familial role. Aruruu's connection to the world's lore stems from her survival of a critical childhood injury caused by an earthquake, an event tied to the awakening of the deity Witsuarunemitea.
