Description
Jyuto Iruma, a 29-year-old sergeant in Yokohama Police Department's Organized Crime Division, adopts the MC alias "45 Rabbit"—merging Yokohama's area code (045) with the "rabbit" kanji (兎) from his name. His career motivation stems from tragedy: his honest, good-natured parents perished in a crash caused by a drug-impaired driver. This resolve hardened when his model-officer mentor and partner succumbed to addiction and overdosed. Disillusioned by legal limitations, Jyuto embraced harsh, extralegal tactics—blackmail, extortion, and unlawful investigations—earning him the "dirty cop" moniker and deep yakuza underworld ties. Despite this, he retains an innate inclination to care for others and mediate conflicts. His signature phrase is "do you want to get arrested?"
As a core member of Yokohama hip-hop group MAD TRIGGER CREW, he partners with yakuza member Samatoki Aohitsugi and ex-navy soldier Rio Mason Busujima. Jyuto proposed recruiting Rio after Samatoki rescued him from drug dealers during an unsanctioned operation. This alliance forms a "Ragtag Bunch of Misfits," with Jyuto mediating between volatile Samatoki and stoic Rio. Though stern, manipulative, and prone to condescension, he exhibits fierce loyalty and protectiveness toward teammates, wielding authority punitively per his personal moral code.
Physically, he has ash brown hair partially slicked back, jade green eyes with fuchsia highlights, and thin rectangular glasses. His attire includes a black suit with red lining, grey dress shirt featuring triangle collar pins connected by a chain, black tie with golden triangle-tipped tie clip, red gloves, and maroon shoes. His Hypnosis Mic resembles a black police radio with a red harness; its "Prison" rap ability immobilizes foes by caging them.
Operating under the corrupt Party of Words—which enforces Hypnosis Mic battles over physical weapons—he witnessed systemic corruption after arresting Hanmyougumi leader Sekirei Hanmyou. Observing Chuo District (Chuohku) and police higher-ups perpetuating the drug trade, he resolved to reform the system from within. His character embodies the clash between initial ideals and morally gray methods, driven by an uncompromising mission to eradicate drugs. He frequently cites Muhammad Ali: "He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life."
