Description
Yashiro Isana represents the amnesiac identity adopted by Adolf K. Weismann, the First and Silver King, after a forced body swap. Originally a German researcher studying the Dresden Slate during World War II, Weismann rejected militaristic uses of its power, believing it held potential for human happiness. The bombing of Dresden, which killed his sister Klaudia, drove him into seclusion aboard the skybound Himmelreich. Decades later, the Colorless King invaded this sanctuary, violently ejecting Weismann's consciousness into the body of a Japanese teenager while seizing Weismann's original form. The trauma induced amnesia, leading Weismann to believe he was solely the 17-year-old high school student Yashiro Isana.

Living as Yashiro, he navigated Ashinaka High School with a carefree and charismatic demeanor, famously collecting food from classmates and carrying a distinctive red Japanese parasol. He displayed a naturally trusting and pacifist nature, easily forming connections with humans, animals, and machines. This persona also revealed trickster inclinations; he fabricated a story about a hospitalized younger sister to evade Kuroh Yatogami, who initially pursued him under suspicion of murdering Tatara Totsuka. This lie unwittingly echoed his true past loss. His amnesiac existence fractured when factions including HOMRA and Scepter 4 targeted him as the suspected Colorless King. During this crisis, he forged bonds with Neko, a Strain capable of memory alteration, and Kuroh, who transitioned from pursuer to protector upon recognizing his innocence.

Regaining his memories unveiled his true identity as the immortal Silver King. He resumed his role as a stabilizing influence among the Kings, confronting threats like the Green Clan (Jungle) in "Return of Kings". He ultimately sacrificed himself to prevent a catastrophic clash between the Red and Blue Kings, vanishing from the physical world. He later returned to save Kuroh during a battle, demonstrating fierce loyalty to his clan, the White Rice Party. His relationships with Kuroh and Neko evolved beyond mere servitude; he regarded them as cherished friends. In the spin-off "The Idol K" (part of "K Seven Stories"), he co-managed an entertainment office with Kuroh, focusing on distinct idol production philosophies compared to other Kings' groups. Following the Dresden Slate's destruction in later events, he lost his Kingly powers but retained his immortality, continuing his guardianship alongside his clan.
