Description
Kyōichi Ozaki possesses maroon hair and grey eyes. His typical attire consists of a charcoal gray jacket over a red zippered sweater, dark faded blue jeans, and black shoes with white soles. He displays three distinctive tattoos: a skull with snakes on his right shoulder, a tribal sun-like symbol on his abdomen, and wings across his back.
Ozaki's personality blends determination and confidence with occasional flashes of shyness, though he consistently maintains control over his emotions. As leader of the Red Angels, his priority is protecting his gang members, confronting threats when necessary. He favors diplomatic solutions, often engaging in talks with Takashi Ando of the G-Boys to preserve peace or resolve misunderstandings between their groups.
Part of his childhood was spent in Chicago, where he trained in ballet and frequently performed lead roles in a dance group. His parents died in a traffic accident during this period, leaving him to grow up alone while continuing his dance studies. After relocating to Ikebukuro, he formed the Red Angels, quickly establishing them as a prominent local gang. Despite initial tensions with the G-Boys—fueled by perceived attacks on members from both sides—Ozaki negotiated a territorial division: the Red Angels controlled Ikebukuro's east, while the G-Boys governed the west. Though wary of the G-Boys, Ozaki regarded Takashi as a friend.
The truce between the Red Angels and G-Boys collapsed when the Yakuza faction Kyougokukai instigated a gang war. After Makoto Majima intervened to resolve the conflict, Ozaki disbanded the Red Angels. He decided to leave Ikebukuro and move into his inherited parents' home, expressing intentions to occasionally return. Before departing, he entrusted Makoto with looking after his former members.
