Description
Rei Kagura, hailing from a music-oriented family, first established himself as a violinist before shifting to idol work under 315 Production. Though skeptical of the idol industry due to past negative encounters with profit-driven audiences that dimmed his passion for performing, he accepted the offer when recognized for his musical talent.

Socially reserved and initially uneasy interacting with peers, his limited prior friendships made everyday conversations a struggle. He also felt discomfort adjusting to some early idol outfits he found overly feminine and embarrassing. His responsibilities include managing his unit mate, Kei Tsuzuki, who often zones out or wanders, requiring Rei's oversight. Despite this dynamic, Rei deeply respects Kei's musical genius and considers their partnership essential for his own growth as an idol.

A pivotal development moment occurred during a children's music program rehearsal where Rei helped a boy overcome his inability to sing by offering to sing alongside him. Witnessing the joy his actions brought solidified his decision to become an idol and defined his mission: delivering heartfelt music to those in need, focusing on emotionally supportive performances for audiences facing hardships.

His relationships extend beyond his unit. A joint live performance led to a meaningful friendship with Shiki Iseya; they bonded over classical music during café visits, helping Rei gradually open up socially. He is also part of a close friend group with Ren Kizaki and Shiki, regularly spending time together since meeting during the White Day 2016 event. An animal lover, he owns a golden retriever named Alto, practicing singing with him at home, and holds a particular admiration for horses.

Notable skills include exceptional violin ability—accurately replicating pieces after a single hearing—and English fluency. He practically applied his English by teaching fellow idols for a live event in Canada. His personal motto emphasizes trust as a foundational principle, aligning with his goal to mature as a performer providing solace through music.
