Description
Michelle Luio, age 25, serves as a special adviser to the powerful corporation Luio & Co. in New Hong Kong, holding the position as the adopted daughter of Chairman Luio Woomin. She exercises considerable influence within Earth Federation political and business circles due to her reputation for accurate predictive abilities, frequently achieved using divination sticks. Though sometimes initially mistaken for a Newtype, her predictions stem from statistical forecasting and intuition. Her background originates in a shared childhood trauma with Jona Basta and Rita Bernal. As eight-year-olds in Australia during the outbreak of the One Year War (U.C. 0079), the trio experienced a precognitive vision warning of the impending colony drop from Zeon's Operation British. Rita, displaying genuine Newtype abilities, led them off their school bus moments before the event, saving their lives and earning them the moniker "Miracle Children." Separated afterwards, they were placed into a Titans-run Newtype research facility. Reunited as teenagers, they endured harsh Cyber-Newtype experiments. Desperate to escape, Michelle manipulated Jona into helping her sacrifice Rita for extreme experimentation. This act secured Michelle's adoption by Luio Woomin but resulted in Rita becoming a Federation test subject, ultimately leading to her disappearance as the pilot of the experimental RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex during a berserk incident.
