Description
Margo, daughter of Fula City’s Mayor Oliver, plays a pivotal role in *The Power of Us* through her bond with the Mythical Pokémon Zeraora. As a child, Zeraora rescued her from a forest rockslide, sustaining injuries that led Margo to secretly nurture it with Moomoo Milk and Oran Berries, forging an unbreakable alliance. Driven to shield Zeraora from human threats, she steals the Wind Festival’s eternal flame—a sacred relic meant to summon Lugia—to deter crowds from encroaching on the forest.

Her distrust of humanity stems from Fula City’s past: fifty years ago, reckless development sparked a devastating wildfire, and poachers later hunted Zeraora, prompting city leaders to falsely declare its extinction. Margo’s father perpetuated this lie until her defiance compelled him to reveal the truth and champion coexistence. To protect Zeraora, she misdirects poachers, though her strategies unravel when Ash and his friends intervene during a clash with hunters.

Margo’s appearance mirrors her spirited compassion—short magenta hair, purple eyes, and fair skin complement her playful yet practical attire: a pink-and-white dress jumper with gold buttons, a white cape-like shirt fastened by a yellow bow, pink shoes, and white socks tied with pink strings.

Guided by unwavering integrity, Margo places Zeraora’s well-being above societal rules, employing cunning tactics like festival sabotage while remaining transparent under pressure. Her empathy extends to all Pokémon, evident when she tends to creatures afflicted by the Effect Spore outbreak and partners with Ash to mend Zeraora’s distrust of humans.

In the manga *Zeraora’s Story*, Margo and Ash utilize virtual reality to witness Zeraora’s history, including its battles against hunters defending wild Pokémon. This insight solidifies her mission to harmonize human and Pokémon relations.

Her arc culminates in Fula City’s renewed trust as she convinces her father to renounce the decades-old lie, uniting the community with forest Pokémon. During the film’s climax, she aids in quelling wildfires and comforts an overexerted Zeraora, transitioning from a solitary guardian to a catalyst for reconciliation, symbolizing hope for mutual respect between species.
