Description
Harriet, a gruff elderly resident of Fula City, harbors lifelong resentment toward Pokémon stemming from a tragic past. Five decades ago, as a laborer constructing the city’s wind power plant, her loyal Snubbull braved a human-caused forest fire to retrieve a vital turbine key. Though the act saved the city, Snubbull perished in the blaze, leaving Harriet with a scarred right hand and unshakable guilt. She thereafter shunned Pokémon, fearing their suffering, earning local notoriety as a harsh critic of human-Pokémon bonds.

During Fula City’s Wind Festival, a spilled Sweet Scent essence at a research lab provokes persistent attention from Pokémon—Totodile, Marill, Togepi, Smoochum, Heracross, Xatu, Tyrogue, and Machamp—whom she begrudgingly tolerates as “scamps.” Their relentless presence and a looming crisis destabilize her resolve. When the city’s turbines malfunction, mirroring the disaster of her youth, Harriet confronts her trauma.

Haunted by Snubbull’s sacrifice, she unveils the preserved key and rallies both humans and Pokémon to revive the abandoned power plant. Collaborating with her newfound companions, she clears hazardous debris and activates the turbine, dispersing an antidote that neutralizes toxic spores endangering the city. The act bridges her fractured history with Pokémon, transforming guilt into purpose.

At the festival’s close, Harriet honors Snubbull’s memory by releasing a ceremonial lantern, her healed perspective marked by quiet camaraderie with Pokémon. Her journey from embittered isolation to communal solidarity underscores resilience through shared struggle and redemption.
