Description
Solaad, a member of the Celestial Clan, inhabits the Sky Temple, a floating continent above Britannia. His appearance closely resembles Meliodas but features distinct blue eyes, longer blonde hair styled differently, a leaner build, and short wings on his back. He typically wears a light pink shirt with eight triangular buttons, blue pants adorned with vertical yellow stripes, and blue sandals.

As the son of Zoria, the Celestial Head Warrior, Solaad was groomed from childhood to inherit the Winged Sword and combat the Demon Clan. However, he despised violence and training, dedicating himself instead to scholarly pursuits, particularly studying legends of the Great Oshiro, a revered savior of the Celestials centuries past. The death of his mother during a demon attack profoundly shaped his motivations. Solaad is engaged to another Celestial, Ellatt; they share deep affection despite his occasional avoidance of responsibility.

Confronted by the prophesied "Time of Ruin," where the seal on the Egg Rock would break and unleash demons, Solaad defied clan law and descended to the surface world to find the Great Oshiro and save his people. This journey led to his first encounter with the Seven Deadly Sins, who mistook him for Meliodas due to their resemblance. Solaad, equally confused, initially fled in panic before realizing their peaceful intent. He informed them of the Celestial Clan's plight and the Time of Ruin, though he lacked solid leads on the Oshiro's location.

Witnessing the destruction of the Sky Temple portal and the demons' resurgence plunged Solaad into despair and self-doubt. He grappled with feelings of inadequacy and feared rejection by his father and clan for abandoning his duties. Encouraged by Elizabeth's empathy and Ban's blunt motivation, he resolved to confront his fears and return to the Sky Temple to fight alongside the Sins.

Back at the Temple, Solaad reunited with Ellatt and saw his father's distrust of Meliodas after discovering Meliodas's demon heritage. Defying Celestial law and his father's authority, Solaad removed the Winged Sword from Meliodas, demonstrating his growing conviction. Later, he wielded the Winged Sword himself, channeling his Ark ability – a light-based technique disintegrating darkness – to seal the unleashed Indura. When his initial effort failed, he rallied the entire Celestial Clan, unifying their collective Ark power through the sword. This combined force successfully contained the Indura, enabling the Seven Deadly Sins to destroy it and avert the Time of Ruin.

Following the battle, Solaad reconciled with his father, earning Zoria's respect through his courage and leadership. His bond with Ellatt remained strong, solidifying his role as a protector of his people.

Solaad possesses standard Celestial Clan abilities, including flight via his wings and Ark magic. His mastery of Ark, combined with the Winged Sword, proved pivotal in the battle against the Indura.
