Elatte belongs to the Celestial Clan, descendants of the Goddess Race dwelling in the Sky Temple. She bears a striking resemblance to Elizabeth Liones, distinguished by her green eyes, shorter bangs, and a pair of short wings. Her typical attire is a pink shirt featuring golden accents around the neckline and a circular design exposing her cleavage, yellow shorts, and light brown Roman-style sandals; the bottom of her shirt is split with maroon designs at the ends.
Personality-wise, Elatte is more temperamental than Elizabeth but deeply compassionate. She actively aids others, such as rescuing fellow celestials from a Red Demon and assisting in critical healing. She also supports her fiancé, Solaad, in his duties as the future Head Warrior of the Celestials.
Elatte's involvement begins when Meliodas and Hawk arrive at the Sky Temple. Mistaking Meliodas for Solaad due to their similar appearance, she initially tries to prevent his imprisonment but relents when he agrees. After Meliodas escapes, she confronts him and learns his true identity. During the crisis caused by the release of the Indura-type demon Dahaaka from the Egg Rock, Elatte retrieves the Winged Sword, only to witness Meliodas defeat the threat. Later, she provides Meliodas with a Celestial battledress and requests he impersonate Solaad until the succession ceremony, expressing unwavering trust in Solaad's return.
When the Six Knights of Black attack during the ceremony, Elatte joins the battle against Meliodas' warnings. She engages Pump but is overpowered and paralyzed by his Hypno Stinger. Solaad intervenes to save her, leading to their emotional reunion. After Meliodas is gravely wounded by the Winged Sword, Elatte heals the Celestial elder Zoria before aiding Elizabeth in healing Meliodas. She defends Meliodas when others fear his demonic nature, reminding Zoria of his actions protecting them. Finally, she channels her Ark power alongside Elizabeth and other Celestials to empower Solaad in sealing the demon Baruja.
