Centuries later during the Meiji era, Hirari served as a police officer, haunted by recurring dreams of an unidentified woman. These visions proved to be echoes of his buried memories of Botan. Their profound bond transcended his reincarnation, though his conscious recollection remained fragmented.

The awakening of Orochi triggered the full resurgence of Hirari's past life memories, including his history with Botan. Amidst the ensuing chaos, he openly declared his enduring love for her and intervened to save her from destruction. Hirari affirmed his conviction that their fates remained inseparably intertwined across time, vowing to reunite with her regardless of circumstance.

Historical records also indicate Hirari reincarnated as the Sengoku-era warlord Oda Nobunaga, during which he pursued the Dokuro-Hoozuki artifact. Following Orochi's initial defeat in the Kamakura period, Botan deliberately erased her existence from Hirari's memories.
