Description
Sanjouno Haruhime is a 16-year-old renard, a human-fox hybrid from the Far East. She has yellow-blonde hair, green eyes, and stands at 1.56 meters tall. After being falsely accused of stealing a sacred treasure by a pallum conspirator who evaded punishment, she was exiled from her homeland. This led to her enslavement in Orario, where her unique magic was exploited before she was rescued and joined the Hestia Familia as a maid.

Her most notable ability is the spell *Uchide no Kozuchi*, a rare form of status buff magic that temporarily increases an ally’s level by one, enhancing their physical and magical abilities. The spell is highly valuable but comes with risks, including mental strain and potential backlash. Its effectiveness may decrease when used on higher-level adventurers unless she levels up herself. Initially reliant on others for protection, she gradually seeks to contribute more in combat, utilizing enchanted items such as Fels’ mind-powered gloves or custom weapons made by allies to compensate for her lack of offensive skills.

Her backstory includes unresolved tensions with her family, particularly her father, who banished her under false accusations. There is speculation that her father may later attempt to reconcile or reclaim her, possibly influenced by her rising reputation following the Hestia Familia’s publicized conflicts. Her past as a coerced courtesan left her with deep-seated insecurities about her worth and purity. A significant moment in her development involves confronting these insecurities, including misconceptions about her virginity, which she initially believed had been lost due to her circumstances.

Over time, she shifts from a passive, dependent figure to someone actively pursuing self-reliance. This is evident in her efforts to assist in dungeon expeditions and her growing determination to face challenges independently. Her relationships within the Hestia Familia, especially with Bell Cranel, reinforce her sense of belonging and purpose. However, the secrecy of her magic remains a vulnerability as knowledge of its existence spreads among Orario’s factions. Future developments may explore her reconnection with her homeland or further examine her heritage as a renard, potentially involving journeys beyond Orario.
