His life shifts when a mechanized entity called "Time Driver," powered by the energy of human dreams and aspirations, appears before him. Yuuto awakens inside its cockpit, where he faces a manifestation of his 12-year-old self. This younger Yuuto represents his earlier, more hopeful identity.

Within the cockpit, the adult confronts his youthful counterpart. Their interaction centers on themes of lost ambition and resigned adulthood, contrasting the dreams and optimism the younger self embodies against the potential the adult has relinquished.
