The younger brother of Natsume Amano and son of Nathan Adams and Katie Forester, Keisuke navigates life with friends Kouji and Tank. Initially skeptical of the supernatural, he dismisses his sister’s dealings with Touma Tsukinami and Akinori Arihoshi as cultish antics—until uncovering her role in exorcising malicious Yo-kai and running a Yo-kai detective agency. A 2017 film sees Keisuke and his mother transformed into Kaodeka Oni by the Onimaro, spurring Natsume to combat the invasion. By 2018’s anime series, he’s a doubting fifth-grader who trails his sister’s late-night escapades, stumbling into her Yo-kai Detective world and its ensuing chaos. The 2019 video game casts him as a playable character, cementing his place in supernatural adventures.
