Description
Togu belongs to the Wicked tribe as a two-eyed Onimaro Yo-kai. He possesses a small humanoid form with thin limbs, a large round head sporting a small horn, and a blueish-gray body. His two sharp fangs and pair of eyes distinguish him from his companions Ogu (one-eyed) and Mogu (three-eyed). Togu typically acts as the trio's primary speaker, often starting their collective dialogue despite Ogu's name appearing first in group references; Mogu frequently adds "yay" to their sentences.

Originally invading Earth as part of the Oni King's army, Togu and his companions aimed to inspirit humans into Kaodeka Oni to harvest malice. They targeted the lonely, bullied Touma Tsukinami, offering false friendship and granting him power to control other Onimaro. This manipulation led Touma to aid their destructive plans, including facilitating the Oni King's resurrection. When the Oni King fatally impaled Touma, Togu and the trio sacrificed themselves by embedding within Touma's body to resurrect him, transitioning from antagonists to allies.

Following this redemption, Togu and the group continued residing protectively within Touma. In the Shadowside anime (episode 22), they actively defended him from a lingering fragment of the Oni King threatening his life, collaborating with Natsume Amano and Akinori Arihoshi who entered Touma's consciousness. After defeating the remnant, they formally entrusted their Keystone to Touma and joined the Yo-kai Detective Agency as supporting members, later forming a close bond with another Yo-kai there, Junior.

In "Yo-kai Watch 4", Togu and the trio are automatically befriended by Touma during Chapter 6. Functioning as a playable Shooter-class unit with no elemental attribute, they share this rarity with Nosirs and Snottle. Their level 21 stats include 159 HP, 82 YP, 28 STR, 76 SPR, 37 PDEF, 54 TDEF, and Fast speed.

Togu evolved from a malice-collecting minion into a selfless protector. His bond with Touma deepened into genuine loyalty, demonstrated through repeated sacrifices for Touma's survival and integration into his support network. This journey established Togu as unique within the Wicked tribe for his capacity for empathy and alliance with humans.
