Description
Yukio Hidaka, known as Yukki, is a middle school student living in a coastal city. He serves as Riku Mikami's classmate and closest friend. Yukio possesses profound knowledge of the Gundam animated series, surpassing most adults, reflecting his deep passion for the franchise. Typically quiet and reserved, he exhibits strong confidence in his abilities as a Gunpla builder. This expertise makes him a reliable ally within Gunpla Battle Nexus Online (GBN), where he operates under the diver name "Yukki".
For his initial entry into GBN alongside Riku, Yukio customized his award-winning RGM-86R GM III Gunpla into the GM III Beam Master. During their introductory tutorial battle guided by Magee, Yukio and Riku faced three AI-controlled OZ-06MS［MPD］ Leo NPDs. Yukio successfully destroyed two opponents: one using the GM III Beam Master's buster binders and another through combined missile pod and beam rifle attacks. Following this, Yukio and Riku encountered and rescued the mysterious girl Sarah. They were then drawn into a confrontation with the diver Do-ji, during which the GM III Beam Master suffered heavy damage from Do-ji's customized Xvv-xc Zedas. Even compromised, Yukio contributed to Do-ji's defeat by lending a beam saber to Riku's Gundam 00 Diver.
After experiences in the Mirror Mission, Yukio constructed a new Gunpla, the RGM-89BM Jegan Blast Master, aiming to refine his combat style and achieve parity with Riku's growing prowess. This upgraded mobile suit debuted during a Force Battle where the Build Divers and their allies confronted the numerically superior Coalition of Volunteers.
Within GBN, Yukio is a core member of the Build Divers force. His closest bond is with Riku Mikami, who regards him as a dependable partner during missions. He also shares a friendship with their classmate Momoka Yashiro (diver name Momo). Yukio, alongside Riku and Momoka, jointly recruited Koichi Nanase (diver name KO-1) into their force after encountering Koichi's sister, Nanami Nanase. The group collectively befriended Sarah during their initial dive into GBN. Later, during a mission to Perisia, they met and recruited Ayame into the Build Divers.
