Erica Mendez is an American voice actress and voice director known for her extensive work in English dubs of Japanese anime and video games. Born in Chicago, Illinois, her career in voice acting began around 2010, with her first major role being the titular character in the 2013 video game Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. She later relocated to Los Angeles to pursue voice acting full-time.

Mendez gained significant recognition in 2014 for her leading roles as the energetic Ryuko Matoi in Kill la Kill and the optimistic Aladdin in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic. These performances helped establish her as a prominent voice in the industry. Her versatility is evident in the wide range of characters she portrays, from young boys to powerful heroines and comedic figures. She voices the determined Gon Freecss in the 2011 adaptation of Hunter x Hunter, the hot-headed Retsuko in Aggretsuko, and the gentle yet fierce Raphtalia in The Rising of the Shield Hero.
