Description
Elina Vance is the third daughter of Count Vance, a powerful political figure on the Continent, and serves as his most loyal subject. Descended from the royal bloodline that once ruled before the Queen's Blade tournament, she received rigorous training from childhood in martial arts, espionage, and assassination. She acts as the Count's bodyguard, intelligence gatherer, and specialized assassin. Her primary mission, ordered by her father, is to capture her older sister Leina, who fled to become a warrior, driving Elina's entry into the Queen's Blade tournament.

Physically, Elina is a blonde-haired, light-blue-eyed young woman standing 168 cm tall. Her armor consistently features a feline motif, evolving across appearances. Initially, she wears a metal cat-eared headband, a golden sapphire-pendant necklace, a metallic brassiere, a striped tasseled vest, a black thong, protective knee wrappings, and striped shoes. In Queen's Blade: Rebellion, her outfit shifts to all-black, featuring twin-tailed hair, a cat-eared face guard, a ruby-adorned breastplate, a cape, and thigh-length metal boots. Her Queen's Blade: Unlimited design becomes more revealing, comprising a white neck bow, blue breastplate, silver hip armor, lace sleeves, lace thigh-highs, silver greaves, a tiara resembling cat ears, and a spear wrapped in large white cloth.

Elina exhibits a complex and unstable personality, suffering from borderline personality disorder and sadomasochistic tendencies that manifest as emotional volatility and cruelty. She openly mocks and curses opponents in combat to break their concentration and holds disdain for non-nobles, considering commoners, workers, and servants beneath her. Her defining trait is an obsessive, libidinous fixation on her sister Leina, expressed through delusional fantasies and relentless pursuit. This obsession extends to her half-sister Claudette in Rebellion. However, in Unlimited, she develops an attachment to the amnesiac young man Michel Rivaranciel, marking a shift in emotional focus.

Her combat abilities emphasize versatility. Specializing in spear techniques and body skills, she employs iron claws for close-range attacks and wires to bind opponents at a distance. Tactically, she uses psychological warfare—taunts and "cursing words"—to demoralize foes, creating early advantages. Official parameters rate her highly in agility, technique, and resourcefulness, with moderate scores in attack, defense, and leadership.

Elina's story progresses through multiple arcs. Before the Queen's Blade tournament, she serves as Captain of the Vance Royal Guard. Her failure to capture Leina via subordinates leads Count Vance to personally task her with the mission during the tournament. In Queen's Blade: Rebellion, following Count Vance's downfall, she becomes leader of the "Assassins of the Fang," Queen Claudette's elite death squad. Her previously intense pursuit of Leina diminishes, replaced by unwavering loyalty to Claudette; her reputation for cruelty as squad leader deters any questioning of this change. Queen's Blade: Unlimited reframes her narrative as a reboot, where she journeys to find the missing Leina but becomes entangled in a conflict with Airi over Michel. Her story culminates in developing a protective bond with Michel.

She owns a white tiger named Timorf, guardian of her private quarters, descended from a tiger brought to the Vance household during her mother Maria's marriage.
