Description
Galu-gu Mulu-elu is a Bilusaludo Lieutenant Colonel and Technical Officer in the United Earth military. He holds supremacist views, considering Bilusaludo superior to humans, Exif, and the Houtua tribe, whom he derides as "insects" and is willing to exterminate. He values cold logic above emotion and human nature, seeing concepts like humanity as weaknesses hindering progress. This drives his ambition to create a "world of perfect logic" by assimilating all organic life into Nanometal, a self-replicating programmable matter developed by his race.
He spearheaded the design of Mechagodzilla, an anti-Godzilla super-weapon constructed from Nanometal during Earth's initial war against Godzilla (2042-2046). Present at the Hamamatsu facility during its final construction, he evacuated when Godzilla attacked before activation, witnessing Mechagodzilla's apparent destruction. Surviving the Earth reconquest operation 20,000 years later and Godzilla Earth's initial assault, he was discovered in the Houtua tribe's underground village. Mistrusting the Houtua, he advocated for their elimination if they obstructed escape.
Discovering Houtua arrowheads made of Nanometal led him and fellow Bilusaludo Rilu-elu Belu-be to its source: the ruins of Mechagodzilla near Mount Fuji. Over millennia, the Nanometal had self-replicated into a massive autonomous structure dubbed "Mechagodzilla City." Galu-gu reactivated its systems and formulated a plan to defeat Godzilla Earth: lure the creature into liquid Nanometal to immobilize it, destroy its dorsal fin with railguns, then fire EMP harpoons to trigger an energy overload.
As the battle commenced, Galu-gu and the Bilusaludo voluntarily fused with the Nanometal, merging their consciousnesses with Mechagodzilla City's AI to transcend organic limitations. He framed this as evolution beyond weak, emotion-driven existence. When human soldiers Martin Lazzari and Adam Bindewald refused assimilation in horror, Galu-gu dismissed their refusal as proof of humanity's inferiority. He allowed himself to be fully consumed within the control room, expressing a final, disappointed hope that Haruo Sakaki might embrace becoming "something greater" by abandoning his humanity.
His assimilation marked the culmination of his character arc, sacrificing his organic form to join the Nanometal collective within Mechagodzilla City. This act underscored his rejection of biological life and dedication to a purely logical existence, viewing it as the necessary path to overcome Godzilla and ensure global assimilation.
