The character Ishitsukuri Prince does not appear in the anime "Fairy Tale Special Selection". He originates from the Japanese folktale "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter", where he is one of five noble suitors attempting to win Princess Kaguya’s hand by completing an impossible task. His story unfolds in Studio Ghibli’s adaptation "The Tale of the Princess Kaguya", depicting his failed deception with a forged artifact. "Fairy Tale Special Selection" is a 24-episode OAV anthology series with 12-minute episodes, but it includes no references to Prince Ishitsukuri.
