Description
Shutina stands among the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon Army as the Magic General. She displays long blonde hair often secured in a ponytail, deep purple eyes, pointed ears, and typically wears glasses. Her attire includes a purple dress, opera gloves, a hood, thigh-high boots, and she carries her magical staff, Claustrum.

Her personality blends diligence, pride, and a powerful sense of responsibility. She exhibits exceptional confidence in her magical prowess and tackles duties with calm professionalism. Yet, immense workload pressures push her near collapse, stemming from her reluctance to delegate due to difficulty trusting others' capabilities. While maintaining composure generally, romantic advances fluster her through inexperience. A distinct trait is her violent reaction to being awakened, attacking sleep disturbers—Queen Echidna remains the sole exception.

Her background reveals a centuries-long connection with Echidna, knowing the Demon Queen since childhood despite their 300-year age gap. Through dedicated study, she mastered extensive magical knowledge and spellcasting, ascending to become Echidna's most capable general. Her role expanded to managing the Demon Army's resources and accounting. During Echidna's human world invasion, Shutina commanded forces until confronting the hero Leo Demonheart. In their battle, Leo nullified her magic, forcing physical combat where she yielded quickly in humiliation, fostering an initial grudge.

Following the Demon Army's defeat, Shutina shoulders primary responsibility for rebuilding and maintaining operations amid severe understaffing. This includes assigning logistical duties to the less mature Beast General Lily, accepting reports in crayon drawings. Acknowledging the need for capable allies, she participates in granting Leo a probationary position under her supervision. Her initial distrust of Leo gradually transforms as he consistently solves problems and improves army efficiency. He aids her in overcoming micromanagement by demonstrating effective delegation, like training subordinates for routine tasks.

Her relationship with Leo evolves significantly from resentment to trusted collaboration. Though uncomfortable with his flirtatious behavior, she resorts to extreme measures needing his help for a dungeon expedition: employing special tea, incense, and a succubus charm spell traditionally reserved for enthralling a "One True Love" to lower his inhibitions. Neither acknowledges this implication during their exploration, where they discover disturbing shrine-like displays featuring Shutina's likeness, leading to a mutual agreement never to discuss the incident.

Shutina maintains unwavering loyalty to Echidna, enduring crushing workloads to support the queen's vision. This devotion grants Echidna unique privileges, like interrupting Shutina's sleep without repercussion. Among fellow generals, she views Lily as immature yet capable of growth, trusts Edvard despite his incompetence, and works alongside Mernes.

As the army's foremost magic user, she commands the most extensive repertoire of spells, including elemental magic like earth, fire, and ice manipulation. The Claustrum staff serves as her primary magical implement.
