Description
Usobakka serves as the primary antagonist, originating from Clover, a young boy dwelling in a decaying alternate world. Clover formed a childhood friendship with a human girl, Hana, during her visit. When Hana failed to fulfill her promise to return and show him the outside world, Clover succumbed to despair over her prolonged absence. This vulnerability allowed the evil sentient flame, Dark Onibi, to manipulate and possess him, forcibly transforming Clover into Usobakka. This monstrous alter ego embodies that bitterness and deception.

Physically, Usobakka manifests as a black-skinned creature with sharp red accents across his body, crimson eyes, and distinct grey hands, a stark contrast to Clover's original humanoid form. His name, meaning "not a liar," presents irony given his deceptive actions.

Driven by resentment toward broken promises, Usobakka wages a campaign of terror across multiple dimensions. His primary ability involves generating clover-shaped vines to ensnare opponents. Once trapped within his body, victims undergo gradual petrification, transforming into stone statues. He specifically targets Pretty Cure teams, sealing the Hugtto!, Kirakira à la Mode, and Mahou Tsukai teams' transformation devices in stone and kidnapping members, neutralizing their abilities and isolating key fighters.

His motivations intertwine personal betrayal with external manipulation. Usobakka rationalizes his attacks by declaring the Pretty Cures "unsuitable" for his world, a belief instilled by Dark Onibi's lies. He actively spreads falsehoods to destabilize the human and magical worlds, amplifying chaos.

The conflict culminates when Hana, alongside Cures Whip and Miracle, locates the Door of Time to revisit Clover's past. Hana's sincere apology and reaffirmed promise weaken Dark Onibi's hold, allowing Clover to momentarily reemerge. Confronted with Hana's enduring sincerity, Clover comprehends Dark Onibi's deception and actively rejects the possession, facilitating Usobakka's defeat.

To atone for the damage inflicted, Clover sacrifices his remaining life force. This act restores the Cures' transformation items and empowers their final united attack, the "Pretty Cure Clover Formation," purifying Dark Onibi. In his final moments, Clover extracts the purified flame and departs for the afterlife, ensuring its influence ends. Usobakka ceases to exist following this sacrifice, Clover's essence scattering as seeds across earthly fields.
