Description
Mirai Asahina is a young girl from the No Magic World who becomes the legendary magical warrior Cure Miracle. Initially a thirteen-year-old student about to enter junior high, she later attends Tsunagi First Middle School as a second-year while also enrolling as a second-year at the Magic School in the Magic World. Her family runs an accessories and jewelry shop, and she lives with her parents and her grandmother, Yuki Kanoko, who gave her a stuffed bear named Mofurun shortly after her birth. This bear becomes a cherished possession and later gains sentience after Mirai transforms into a Pretty Cure.

Mirai is energetic, scatterbrained, and easily distracted, with an interest in various subjects and a tendency to think outside the box. She is seen as strange, funny, lovely, and caring, possessing a selfless nature that leads her to sacrifice herself for friends. She deeply admires her future partner, Riko Izayoi, and aims to study magic while earning Riko's admiration. Her name, meaning "future," was chosen to inspire hope and perseverance.

As Cure Miracle, she introduces herself with the phrase, "Our Miracle! Cure Miracle!" and embodies the power of miracles, symbolized by hearts. Her theme color is pink, though she also uses red, blue, and yellow in different transformation styles. She transforms with the phrase "Miracle・Magical・Jewelryle!" using Linkle Stones and Mofurun as henshin items. Her catchphrases include "Did you just say○○?!" and "This is so exciting!".

Cure Miracle has long, bright blonde hair styled in a ponytail with a magenta bow, light purple eyes, and a pink and white dress with a witch hat accessory, gold bracelets, and white boots with pink tips. She undergoes multiple power-up forms, each with distinct aesthetics and abilities:
- Ruby Style: twin-tails, a red and white dress, and the attack Ruby Passionale.
- Sapphire Style: a curly ponytail and blue-themed attire, with the attack Sapphire Sapientia.
- Topaz Style: braided rings and a yellow outfit, with the attack Topaz Esperanza.
- Alexandrite Style: a larger hat, cape, and additional charms.
- Heartful Style: an angelic variant with wings and heart-shaped decorations.
- Super Cure Miracle: twin-tails, longer hair, and angel-like wings.
- Pink Dia Style: a modified Dia Style with petal-like protrusions and a veil.

Her attacks include Diamond Eternal, Ruby Passionate, Sapphire Smartish, Topaz Esperanza, Linkle Pink Tourmaline, Linkle Tanzanite, Linkle Amethyst, Linkle Garnet, Linkle Peridot, Extreme Rainbow, and Heartful Rainbow.

Mirai's relationships are central to her development. Her partnership with Riko Izayoi, Cure Magical, evolves into an inseparable bond, strengthened by jointly raising Ha-chan, a being born into Mirai's hands who is implied to be their adoptive child in the manga. Mofurun, her sentient teddy bear, is considered like a sister and a lifelong companion. She also forms a parental connection with a young girl named Hisui, whom she protects from the villain Ire. Her grandmother, Kanoko, supports her belief in magic and strengthens her resolve.

In later years, Mirai becomes a university student in the No Magic World while maintaining her responsibilities as a magical girl. She reunites with Riko, who teaches in the Magic World, to face new threats like Ire, who endangers both realms. This period involves balancing college life with magical duties, reflecting her continued growth and dedication.

Mirai appears in various media, including the film "Pretty Cure Super Stars!" where she, as part of the Witchy PreCure team, joins other Pretty Cure groups to combat the monster Usobakka and restore transformed devices. She also features in sequels like "Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure!! ~MIRAI DAYS~," which explores her adult life and ongoing challenges.

Additional traits include her favorite food, strawberry-flavored melonpan, and her zodiac sign, Gemini. She was initially conceived with Magic World ancestry, though this idea was discarded to emphasize her role as the "normal" member of the team. Alongside Riko, she served as a cultural ambassador for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.
