TV-Series
Description
Mikazuki Kuroda, alias Gomora, is a female kaiju-human hybrid hailing from Osaka, bearing the inherited soul of the ancient creature Gomora. Her family name traces to warlord Kuroda Nagamasa, whose kabuto helmet inspired Gomora’s signature crescent horn, mirrored in her given name "Mikazuki" ("crescent moon"). She favors the nickname "Gomotan," though peers occasionally use "GomGom."

Bubbly and mischievous, Mikazuki engages in playful banter, particularly with Aki, balancing her lightheartedness with selective food preferences and occasional pranks, as detailed in the second novel series. Her Osaka heritage surfaces in sporadic Kansai dialect usage. Entering the Great Kaiju Fight initially as Seabozu’s replacement opponent, she voiced regret for disrupting his debut before facing defeat against reigning champion Benio Utagawa (Red King) in her first official match.

Later, she mentors the capsule trio—Agira, Miclas, and Windom—in combat training. During the *Kaiju Girls Black* arc, Mikazuki stumbles upon Commander Black of the Black Stars infiltrating GIRLS’ kitchen during a snack raid. She joins allies to confront the Black Stars after their accidental unleashing of a drunken Gatanothor, though their combined efforts falter against the empowered entity. Post-Gatanothor’s reversion, she aids in pursuing the fleeing antagonists.

Her combat capabilities include standard kaiju-girl traits: enhanced strength, shell-composite armor, and high durability, augmented by Gomora’s signature Super Oscillatory Wave. Early media depicted her using the masculine pronoun "boku," later shifting to "watashi" to distinguish her speech patterns from another character.

Mikazuki’s narrative spans televised "Big Kaiju Battle" events, the *Kaiju Girls Black* film, and *The Beginning Stories* novels, transitioning from a frontline combatant to a supportive role within GIRLS across these interconnected media.
