Description
Moeka Kiryuu is a 20-year-old woman with pale skin, light nut-brown hair, and amber eyes. She stands 167 cm tall with a slender build, typically wearing rectangular glasses and carrying a purple mobile phone. Her usual attire includes a white button-up top with black arm cutouts, a black belt featuring a checkered buckle, a short black skirt, and black heels. Her Rounder uniform is a black jumpsuit, boots, and belt, worn with her hair tied up.

She communicates almost exclusively via text messages, even face-to-face, using kaomoji like "(^ ^)" and netslang such as "lol" in emails. This creates a cheerful, playful digital persona starkly contrasting her inexpressive, reserved demeanor in person. Severe social anxiety and an inability to function without her phone cause this reliance; attempts to remove it provoke agitation or verbal shutdown. Her background involves childhood neglect and abuse stemming from an unwanted pregnancy, leading to bullying, social isolation, and paranoid personality disorder. In 2004, she attempted suicide via sleeping pills. In June 2006, she nearly jumped from a building before receiving a recruiting email from "FB," a SERN operative who became a maternal figure. Moeka then joined the Rounders, SERN's mercenary unit, developing absolute dependency on FB's validation. She sends approximately 10 daily emails to maintain their connection.

In the Alpha Attractor Field, Moeka infiltrated the Future Gadget Lab as "Lab Mem 005" to locate the IBN 5100 retro computer. Under FB's orders, she led Rounders in an attack on the lab, resulting in Mayuri Shiina's death. When FB ceased communication after the IBN 5100 mission, Moeka committed suicide by jumping from her apartment rooftop. Investigations later revealed her D-mail to FB disclosed the IBN's location at Yanabayashi Shrine, altering world lines. FB was later exposed as Yuugo Tennouji (Mr. Braun), who manipulated her for SERN. After Tennouji's suicide, his daughter Nae, as a Rounder commander, killed Moeka in one timeline. While dying, Moeka apologized for Mayuri's death, acknowledging her actions as punishment.

In *Steins;Gate 0* (Beta Attractor Field), Moeka aids Okabe Rintaro in preventing World War III, demonstrating loyalty despite her SERN affiliations. During the "Twin Automata" route, she rescues Maho Hiyajo from Europol agents, shooting Judy Reyes for protection. This timeline shows her capacity for growth: she speaks verbally more often, displays perceptiveness and responsibility, and allies with lab members while retaining ties to SERN. Alternate world lines illustrate further complexity. In the Gamma Attractor Field, she acts coldly efficient, assisting Okabe in killing Europol agents while considering him and FB "family" and harboring unacknowledged feelings for him. In the Delta Attractor Field, she authors a bestselling romance novel, *My Rainbow*, inspired by her bond with Okabe. Overcoming her belief of being "unneeded," she builds friendships with lab members, smiles openly, and achieves emotional stability.

Her core motivation is a desperate need to feel needed, driven by lifelong abandonment. This fragility manifests in extreme obedience: she commits violence to preserve FB's acceptance, believing "taking another’s life" gives her own meaning. However, guidance toward positive relationships—like Okabe's support in Delta or their alliance in *Steins;Gate 0*—unlocks her potential for empathy and redemption.
