Birte Baumgardt is a German voice actress born on March 12, 1984, in Bochum, Germany. She grew up in Bremerhaven and began her career as a voice actor in 2008, following early experience in youth and improvisational theater. Her work is primarily in the dubbing of anime series and films for the German-language market, though she is also active in voicing characters for video games.

Baumgardt has provided the German voice for a wide array of anime characters. Among her most prominent roles are Raphtalia in The Rising of The Shield Hero, Kyouka Jirou in My Hero Academia and its related films, and Ikumi Mito in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma. She also voices Moeka Kiryuu in Steins;Gate 0, Kirishima in Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Ars Nova, and Seri Awashima in the K: Seven Stories series. Her film work includes the role of Naoka Ueno in the critically acclaimed A Silent Voice.

Beyond voice acting, Baumgardt has taken on significant creative and directorial roles in German dubbing productions. Notably, she co-wrote the dialogue book and directed the German adaptation for the Netflix anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners in 2022. She is well-known for voicing the bard Priscilla in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, for which she also performed the German version of the song The Wolven Storm. Her other video game credits include Poppy Sweeting in Hogwarts Legacy, Kyra in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Maiko in Cyberpunk 2077. Baumgardt is also a singer and musician; she was active on YouTube under the name Paperblossom, posting cover songs and original music, and has contributed songs to the animated series TubeClash.
