Description
Sheena Fujibayashi hails from the ninja village of Mizuho in the parallel world of Tethe'alla. Trained in assassination and the rare art of summoning, she initially targets Colette Brunel, the Chosen of Sylvarant, believing her death will halt Tethe'alla's decline. These early assassination attempts fail due to her lack of deftness and the intervention of Lloyd Irving's group. Her actions stem from a deep sense of responsibility for her world, intensified by childhood trauma: at age nine, her failure to form a pact with the Spirit of Lightning, Volt, resulted in the deaths of roughly a quarter of Mizuho's population, including the village chief who had adopted her after finding her in the woods. This catastrophe left her burdened with lasting guilt and severe self-doubt, compounded by blame from many villagers.

Significant character development occurs after encountering Lloyd's group in the ruined town of Luin, where she is injured protecting citizens from Desian forces. Witnessing the group's actions at the Asgard Human Ranch and learning the truth of Sylvarant's suffering, she permanently joins them. This choice reflects her prioritization of moral duty over mission objectives, driven by inherent kindness and the realization that Colette is no enemy. She travels with an artificial fox-like spirit named Corrine, her constant companion and essential aid for summoning.

A pivotal confrontation unfolds at the Temple of Lightning when she faces Volt again to fulfill her village's new mission. Corrine sacrifices himself to shield the group from Volt's attack, galvanizing Sheena to overcome her fear and guilt. She successfully forms the pact with Volt, marking a turning point in her self-confidence and mastery of summoning. This victory initiates her quest to form pacts with all elemental Summon Spirits, a process vital for stabilizing the mana supply of both worlds. Her summoning proves crucial later when channeling the spirits' mana into a cannon to calm the unstable Great Kharlan Tree.

Sheena confronts personal betrayal when Mizuho elder Kuchinawa is revealed as a traitor. Defeating him reinforces her dedication to her village and allies. At the climax on Derris-Kharlan, she witnesses Mithos' defeat and Lloyd's destruction of his Cruxis Crystal. Following the fusion of Sylvarant and Tethe'alla using the Eternal Sword and Great Seed, she returns to Mizuho to rebuild its reputation and foster connections with the newly united world. Later, she aids Emil Castagnier and Marta Lualdi during events in the Temple of Ice, investigating Lloyd's alleged crimes and helping thwart further threats to the unified world.

Physically, she possesses black hair, brown eyes, and stands 1.64 meters tall. She employs paper seals or charms as weapons for elemental attacks, healing, and traps, complementing her agility and martial arts training. Her fighting style integrates ninjutsu techniques such as substitution and evasion, enhanced by an Exsphere granting low-level superhuman capabilities. Her most distinctive ability remains summoning, allowing her to invoke powerful elemental spirits and even the supreme spirit, Origin.
