Description
Ayaka Sajyou originates from an urban legend in Fuyuki City, known as "Person A," a resident of Semina Apartments who vanished following a neighbor's suicide. This disappearance birthed the "Little Red Riding Hood of Semina Apartments" ghost story among Homurahara Academy students.

Her true nature is the El-Melloi Supreme Mystic Code, an Ether Clump from the Age of Gods that achieved sentience and a physical fairy-like form. After centuries of fragmentation and reassembly, she manifested as a blonde, elf-eared girl raised by magi exploiting her wish-granting powers. Psychologically corrupted by her abilities, these magi cyclically abused and abandoned her, dubbing her "Little Red Riding Hood." During one abandonment, she encountered her neighbor, the real Person A, hypnotizing her into providing care. When the magi later killed each other fighting over her, the traumatized girl fled to Person A's apartment. The two fused during a wish, becoming the entity Ayaka Sajyou.

This fusion left Ayaka with Person A's introverted personality and fear of human closeness. She requires large, isolated living spaces as psychological barriers and avoids social interactions, rarely recalling names or faces. Severe elevator-related trauma developed from memories of the original Little Red Riding Hood asking for elevator help, causing persistent hallucinations and elevator avoidance.

Drawn into the Snowfield Holy Grail War by Zelretch's design, Ayaka received five Command Spells from a woman named Philia. Captured by magus Cashura, she witnessed his death during Saber's summoning. Saber, recognizing her as his true Master, defended her against Assassin. Though Ayaka initially rejected the contract and Saber vanished, he later reappeared, solidifying their partnership despite her reluctance to fight.

She shows gradual, reluctant engagement with allies. She protected the civilian Ayaka Sajyou during False Assassin's attack, earning an alliance offer from Saber and False Assassin. Later, she assisted in rescuing Tsubaki Kuruoka, overcoming her initial hesitation. Her trauma manifests as aversion to Fuyuki Church—stemming from a hazy encounter with Kirei Kotomine and Gilgamesh—and finding comfort near Einzbern Castle's exterior. Philia later confirmed placing suggestion magecraft on her to facilitate Servant theft.

Physically, Ayaka appears in her late teens or early twenties with blonde hair and thin-framed glasses. Her Command Spells are positioned on her right hand, right shoulder, back, left shoulder, and left hand. Research by Lord El-Melloi II confirmed her distinction from the Clock Tower magus sharing her name, who has brunette hair and uses different name formatting.
