Anjali Kunapaneni is an American voice actor known for their work in English dubs of anime and video games. They were born on December 13, 2000, in Washington, D.C., and were raised in Michigan, moving frequently throughout the United States and attending ten different schools during their K-12 education. They also spent time in elementary school in India. Kunapaneni studied Public Policy and Creative Writing at Duke University before pursuing a full-time career in voice acting. They are non-binary and use they/them pronouns.
Kunapaneni has accumulated a range of notable roles in anime since their debut. One of their earliest credited roles was as the young Taira no Sukemori in the 2021 Funimation English dub of the historical anime The Heike Story. That same year, they voiced the tech-enthusiast Karin in the original English-language anime series Fena: Pirate Princess, which aired on Adult Swim and Crunchyroll. They continued to build their resume with prominent supporting characters in several fantasy anime series, including the wolfkin Sara in Seirei Gensouki - Spirit Chronicles, the rational and caring mystic fox Kaede Foxia in How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, and the determined Mimi Imimi in Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens. They also voiced Ayaka Sajyo in the 2023 anime special Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn-.
Beyond the roles listed, Kunapaneni has an extensive body of work in both anime and video games. In the Pokémon franchise, they voiced Danika in Pokémon Journeys: The Series and later took on the more prominent role of Roy, one of the main protagonists, in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. Their video game credits are equally diverse and include the character Dori in the popular game Genshin Impact, Shinigami in Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, and Margo in Apex Legends. They have also provided voices for characters in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
