TV-Series
Description
Yaomay, also known as Yang Min or Youmei, is the daughter of nationally famous actress Yang Li. Her youth was spent acting under her mother's oppressive control, forging a timid and insecure personality. To escape this past, she left home and underwent extensive full-body plastic surgery, erasing her original appearance to abandon her former identity.

Now residing in Kowloon Walled City, she works as a seamstress specializing in stuffed animals and dolls. Her sewing provides both livelihood and creative expression. Early struggles with unsold inventory eased when Reiko Kujirai, Hajime Kudō, and Xiaohei assisted her, sparking a friendship with Reiko—affectionately nicknamed "Reko-pon." During their first meeting, Yaomay learned of Reiko's amnesia and shared her own transformation, though omitting specifics of her history.

Despite her outwardly cheerful demeanor, moments of emotional vulnerability trigger a temporary reversion to her pre-surgery appearance, exposing lingering insecurities and her struggle to reconcile past and present identities.

In the live-action adaptation, her occupation shifts to shoemaking while retaining her core narrative of reinvention.
