Its appearance features large ears, a prominently marked tail, and a fluffy orange-and-white coat reminiscent of a Maine Coon cat. Extremely sharp claws remain hidden beneath its paws, contrasting its soft exterior. Two scarf-like feelers extend from its neck, serving for warmth or to conceal its face when shy. Its eyes typically display green cross-shaped pupils, but shift to red X-shaped pupils during heightened distress or aggression. Despite its Champion status, Meicoomon exhibits a childlike playfulness and naivety, often playing or eating sweets alongside Rookie Digimon. It shares a profound emotional bond with its human partner, Meiko Mochizuki, affectionately calling her "Mei." Separation from Meiko triggers severe anxiety and instability, leading to feral behavior where it cannot distinguish allies from threats. This dependency intensifies over time, eventually preventing Meiko from calming it during rages. Meicoomon originated from a Digi-Egg containing inherited data from Apocalymon, marking it as the entity "Libra" to forces like Homeostasis and Yggdrasil. This data grants latent power exceeding typical Champion levels but causes instability. Meicoomon first met Meiko in Tottori, Japan, where Meiko's presence initially stabilized it. A subsequent move to Tokyo led to separation, sparking events that destabilized both the Real and Digital Worlds. Meicoomon's mere presence unintentionally overwrites binary data (0s and 1s) into ternary (0s, 1s, and 2s), creating spatial distortions, infecting other Digimon, and disrupting global electronic systems, unknown to Meicoomon itself. When frightened or in pain, Meicoomon enters a "Saltation" state: its fur becomes wilder, claws elongate, and aggression intensifies. This state resulted in Leomon's death in *Digimon Adventure tri*. Prolonged separation or trauma prompts aberrant evolutions, first into Meicrackmon (Vicious Mode), then Raguelmon. As Raguelmon, it absorbed Ophanimon Falldown Mode to become Ordinemon, an entity threatening reality itself. Ordinemon was defeated, leading to Meicoomon's demise, though a fragment of Apocalymon's data was recovered by Dark Gennai for future plans. In *Digimon World: Next Order*, Meicoomon appears with amnesia, fleeing the "White Fang" group which forcibly evolves it to cross dimensions. Here, it inadvertently infects Digimon via a black aura and attacks allies before regaining clarity. In *Digimon Ghost Game*, Meicoomon falls victim to identity theft by Betsumon, questioning its existence before fading away. Its standard evolution line begins as Salamon or Keramon, progressing to LadyDevimon, Angewomon, or Meicrackmon, with PlatinumSukamon as an alternate evolution under specific conditions. Within *tri*, its evolutions reflect external manipulations or emotional triggers rather than natural growth.
