Description
Charalit began as a chief clerk at the Azababu Branch of Criasu Corporation, tasked with finding the White Mirai Crystal while sporting bleach blonde hair, light blue eyes, light brown skin, grey sweatpants, a sleeveless black shirt, a yellow vest, gold necklace, and gold bracelet. His name, from the Japanese "charachara" meaning "jingling," "messing around," or "flashy," reflected his frivolous and cynical villainous personality; he dismissed bright futures and disliked optimism. As an Oshimaida, his appearance changed to darker, shaggier hair, claws, white talons, and ragged clothing. His abilities included extracting "Prickly Powerer" using the phrase "Hope for tomorrow, begone! Negative Wave!" and transforming it into Oshimaida monsters with "I'm ordering you! Oshimaida!".
His early missions involved tracking and attacking the Pretty Cures, though he often hid his failures. After repeated defeats, particularly by Cure Étoile in episode 5, the corporation removed his desk as discipline. In episode 11, he was forcibly transformed into a gigantic Oshimaida as a final loyalty test but was purified by the Trinity Concert attack.
Post-purification, his personality shifted toward charisma and helpfulness, uplifting others like reassuring Uchifuji-sensei about childbirth or cheering customers, though he retained occasional showboating. He reconciled with former colleagues Daigan and Papple, opening a talent agency. To fund it, he worked various jobs, including at HugMan Home Center and creating internet videos. He later allied with the Pretty Cures against George Kurai, temporarily becoming a Cure using the Mirai Bracelets. After returning to the future, he appeared as an elementary school student in the reconstructed timeline.
His relationships evolved significantly: initially antagonistic toward Hariham Harry and Hugtan, he later developed a friendly rivalry with Harry over who was more handsome, amusing Hugtan, contrasting his earlier hostility.
