Outwardly frivolous and charismatic, Chris adopts a flirtatious, carefree persona as a defense mechanism, described as wearing "different masks" to navigate situations. This facade hides profound emotional burdens tied to family loyalty. His father, Tyler Redgrave, a High Card agent, died performing the forbidden X-Hand ritual—using four-of-a-kind X-Playing Cards—to save Chris’s life during childhood.
