Description
Marchosias serves as a Crimson Lord bound to the Flame Haze Margery Daw, bearing the true name "Claw and Fangs of Violation" and manifesting an ultramarine-colored flame. His will resides within the Divine Vessel Grimoire, a book that functions as Margery's primary tool. This Grimoire stores objects such as the Treasure Tool Blutsauger and enables communication with human allies via bookmarks that also detect Unrestricted Spells.

He typically displays a boisterous and irreverent personality, often making vulgar remarks and laughing harshly. This frequently provokes Margery to strike the Grimoire while demanding silence. Despite this abrasive exterior, Marchosias reveals keen perceptiveness and strategic cunning during critical moments. He acts as a mentor to Margery and her allies, offering guidance and maintaining calm in high-stakes situations, counterbalancing Margery's impulsiveness. Their partnership is defined by mutual verbal abuse underpinned by profound trust and camaraderie.

Marchosias first encountered Margery during the Middle Ages when she was vulnerable after "The Silver" eliminated her targets. He compelled her to form a contract at that pivotal moment, initiating their enduring alliance. Their relationship fluctuates between antagonism and deep loyalty, with Marchosias providing emotional support during Margery's apathy and deliberately provoking her to reignite her resolve when needed.

In combat, his true form manifests as a colossal, fiery ultramarine werewolf with yellow eyes. Its roar can pierce dimensional barriers like the Fūzetsu. This form emerged temporarily when Margery lost consciousness after injury, an incomplete manifestation that spared her destruction. In this state, he unleashes destructive power, firing energy projectiles called "Endan" from his mouth. Margery also utilizes his power for flight by standing atop the Grimoire.

His name references the 35th demon of the Ars Goetia, described as a wolf possessing griffin wings and a serpent's tail that breathes fire, underscoring his thematic association with bestial power and otherworldly menace.
