Description
Itsuki Inubozaki is a 13-year-old first-year middle school student with blonde chin-length hair styled in two front pigtails resembling a hime-cut, green eyes, and a petite frame standing 148 cm tall. Her school attire includes a cream-colored dress with a brownish rim, brown/grey cardigan with a red bow, white tights, and dark brown shoes. In her Hero form, she wears a white under-dress with light green panels and a green-to-white ombre overdress featuring spear-striped adornments, white knee-high boots wrapped in green ribbons, and a flower hair clip that turns green upon transformation. A Canterbury Bells-shaped Mankai gauge appears below her nape.

Her parents, unnamed Taisha workers, died during a Vertex attack evacuation two years prior, leaving her older sister Fuu as guardian. Fuu assumes dual sister and parental roles, profoundly impacting Itsuki's life. While lacking Fuu's homemaking skills, Itsuki demonstrates talent as a reliable fortune-teller through tarot readings and possesses exceptional singing abilities with idol aspirations. Naturally shy and timid around strangers, she exhibits kindness and willingness to help others. Around familiar individuals, she displays occasional snarkiness, particularly reacting to Fuu's unconventional statements. Itsuki harbors self-awareness about her small stature and reserved nature, fueling a desire to stand as Fuu's equal rather than relying on her protection.

As a Hero, Itsuki wields Shinju-granted fairies. Her first fairy, Kodama, is a light-green plant spirit enabling her to summon a tambourine-like ring that shoots magical vines for ensnaring or slicing enemies. Her second fairy, Ungaikyou, is a blue mirror spirit allowing her to generate multiple green light shields for defense, though these proved insufficient against attacks like Tougou Mimori's Mankai laser. Activating Mankai significantly amplifies her abilities: the ring enlarges and attaches to her back, enabling the creation of hundreds of vines. This power rescued allies, forming nets to catch Tougou and Yuuna during their fall from space. However, using Mankai during a critical battle resulted in Sange—the permanent loss of her voice. Despite this, she persevered in her singing aspirations using written communication and expressed gratitude toward Fuu and the Hero Club for their support.

Itsuki's development centers on overcoming dependency and finding metaphorical voice. Initially compliant with Fuu's decisions, including unknowingly joining the Hero Club's Vertex-fighting duties, she gradually asserts independence. Losing her singing voice intensified her determination to support Fuu, leading to diligent practice and a confident school test performance with the Hero Club's encouragement. During later events involving the Taisha and Shinkon Ceremony, she advocated for reform over confrontation. Her intervention persuaded Sonoko Nogi to pursue coexistence with the reformed Taisha instead of overthrow. Four years post-conflicts, she actively pursued a professional singing career, symbolizing fulfilled personal goals alongside continued bonds with the Hero Club.

Key relationships define her journey. With Fuu, she shares deep mutual love and respect, viewing Fuu as her safest refuge while striving to emerge from her shadow. She admires Yuuna Yuuki as a reliable senior, maintains a friendly but occasionally bewildered rapport with Tougou Mimori due to Tougou's eccentricity, and shares a comedic sibling-like dynamic with Karin Miyoshi, bonding over shared insecurities like poor cooking skills and flat-chestedness. Karin later expressed a desire to have Itsuki as a younger sister.
