Description
Yuuna Yuuki leads the "Yuki Yuna is a Hero" franchise as its central protagonist. A second-year student at Sanshu Middle School, she co-founded the Hero Club, dedicated to community service. Her father trained her in martial arts, while her mother taught her flower pressing. Possessing exceptional aptitude scores in Hero potential assessments, she became the reason the Taisha organization strategically relocated the Tougou family next door, fostering their crucial friendship.

In her civilian form, she has red hair and eyes, standing slightly below average height. Transformation into her Hero form turns her hair pink and enlarges a flower petal-shaped hair clip. Her Hero outfit features white and pink armor, a long coat, and combat gauntlets. Her Mankai form shifts to a kimono-like dress with detached sleeves and gigantic mechanical fists, displaying a cherry blossom motif Mankai gauge on her right fist. A sun-like symbol later manifested on her chest and abdomen from a heavenly curse.

She embodies energetic optimism and unwavering loyalty, driven by a strong desire to protect others, especially best friend Tougou Mimori. Emotionally perceptive, she often lightens tense situations with exaggerated cheerfulness. Yet, she harbors deep fears of death and isolation, sometimes masking her struggles with white lies to shield friends and suppressing terror during battles while projecting bravery.

Specializing in close-range combat with armored gauntlets and greaves, her signature techniques are the "Hero Punch" and "Hero Kick," powered by mischievous fairies Gyūki (cow spirit) and Kasha (fire-cat spirit). Activating Mankai drastically boosts her offense but inflicts severe costs: initial use erased her sense of taste, a subsequent activation paralyzed her legs. These disabilities reversed after the Shinju’s reset following the Vertex conflict. Her ultimate ability, Daimankai, channels the collective power and wishes of the Hero Club and humanity to confront divine entities.

During Yuuki Yuuna’s Chapter, she encounters the Vertex in the Jukai forest and joins the fight. Key events include discovering Mankai's debilitating consequences, confronting Tougou’s betrayal during her attempt to destroy the Shinju, and sustaining critical injuries leading to a months-long coma. She awakens upon hearing Tougou’s voice, symbolizing their bond. In Heroes’ Chapter, recurring unease surfaces as erased memories of Tougou resurface. She realizes the Taisha altered their memories to forget Tougou. Volunteering to enter a cosmic void to retrieve Tougou, she directly challenges the heavenly gods. This act triggers a divine curse causing her body to deteriorate and endangering anyone she tries to inform, exemplified when Inubouzaki Fuu suffers a car accident during such an attempt.

Her brief appearance in Washio Sumi’s Chapter depicts her initial meeting with Tougou, establishing their foundational relationship. Post-series narratives confirm her full recovery from all disabilities and her continued leadership within the Hero Club.
