Description
Takeshi Iori is the father of Sei Iori and a world-renowned Gunpla fighter who placed first runner-up in the Second Gunpla Builders World Cup using an RX-78-2 Gundam. His passion for Gunpla greatly influenced his son Sei and Tatsuya Yuuki to pursue the hobby. Professionally, Takeshi serves as an International Gunpla Battle Official Referee, traveling globally to promote the sport and apprehend individuals involved in illegal activities. His duties include investigating unauthorized Plavsky Particle usage and combating unfair practices, such as those perpetrated by the Gunpla Mafia.

Despite frequent absences due to his work, Takeshi remains deeply devoted to his family, showing immense love for his wife Rinko and son Sei. He exhibits courage and a proactive nature, especially in crises. During the underground Arista overload and replica A Baoa Qu incident, Takeshi helped evacuate the arena and returned to defend Sei and his friends using his PF-78-1 Perfect Gundam.

In the narrative of GM's Counterattack, Takeshi investigates unauthorized Plavsky Particle use in London. He participates in a building raid with fellow referees, though the targets escape as part of a larger diversion by the Gunpla Mafia. Takeshi appears at the climax to arrest Mikia Mashita, the twin brother of the former PPSE chairman and leader of the Gunpla Mafia, after the group's defeat. His efforts help uphold the integrity of Gunpla Battle.

Takeshi earns respect from figures like Master Chinan and Mr. Ral, collaborating with them during critical events. His guidance and legacy continue to shape Sei's growth as a Gunpla builder and fighter.
