Despite no prior horseback riding experience before entering horse racing school, he possesses an innate, natural sense for riding and communicating with horses. Within the series, his interactions with horses and peers, especially Yu Arimura, are central. He meets Yu during Yu's transition from idol life to horse racing, forming a pivotal bond.
