Kash Winger, a human male born in 1838, enrolled at the Alzano Imperial Magic Academy on April 4, 1852, as a first-year student in Class 2. He remained in Class 2 during his second year. He holds the Unde rank, the lowest mage classification.

Physically a teenage boy, he possesses gray eyes. Descriptions note his hair, cut to ear length, as either gray or black. He consistently wears the standard academy uniform.

His documented activities begin with participation in Sistine Fibel's surprise birthday party on December 24, 1852. During the Magic Competition arc, Kash represented Class 2 in the dueling event alongside Gibul Wisdan and Sistine Fibel. He lost his match to Ena Uno but made her victory difficult, contributing to Class 2's overall win against Class 1.

On the Field Study Expedition to Cineria Island, Kash organized and led an operation to infiltrate the girls' room at night, conducting reconnaissance to plan the route. He and other participants attacked their instructor, Glenn Radars, in their attempt. Following their defeat, Glenn redirected their efforts toward morning activities at the beach.
