Description
Deatroaf Kocsel, also known as Detroff Kossell, serves as captain of the *Lili Marleen*, flagship of the Cima Fleet, and acts as Cima Garahau's second-in-command. He hails from Mahal, a Side 3 colony cluster.
Kocsel exhibits notable competence, accurately interpreting Cima's often ambiguous intentions and effectively executing her commands. He originated addressing her as "Master Cima," a practice adopted fleet-wide despite Cima initially requesting "Commander Cima."
A former soldier in the Zeon Principality's Assault Task Force, Kocsel joined Cima in seizing the *Gwaden*'s bridge near the end of the Delaz Conflict. Anavel Gato's Neue Ziel destroyed the bridge, ejecting Kocsel and his personnel into space.
Commanding the *Lili Marleen* in the manga *Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Rebellion*, Kocsel shields Cima's Gerbera Tetra during the Solar System II irradiation. Though the ship's apparent destruction suggests his demise, Kocsel survives alongside other Marines. He subsequently departs for Jupiter with Cima.
