Taeko Kondou serves as radio operator for Ooarai Girls Academy's Duck Team. This first-year student originates from Kitaibaraki, Ibaraki Prefecture, stands 167 cm tall, and has blood type AB. Previously a volleyball team member specializing in jump serves, she joined Sensha-do after the team's disbandment to fund its revival.

Her tall, well-endowed physique features medium pinkish-brown hair, brown eyes, and notably large hips—earning the nickname "Large Duck" from Chi-Ha-Tan Academy's Haru Fukuda. She typically wears Ooarai's volleyball uniform (#3) with a red bandanna during Sensha-do.

Gentle, friendly, and calm, Taeko remains the Duck Team's most sociable member despite quiet tendencies. She keeps composure under combat stress, never loses her temper, and proves reliable in desperate situations. Uniquely, she performs a credible vocal imitation of St. Gloriana commander Darjeeling.

Operating the outdated Type 89B I-Go tank with commander Noriko Isobe, driver Shinobu Kawanishi, and gunner Akebi Sasaki, Taeko coordinates communications during reconnaissance, baiting, and ambush tactics necessitated by the tank's limitations.

In the Anzio High School match, her reconnaissance exposed cardboard decoy tanks before direct engagement disrupted Anzio's encirclement. During finals against Kuromorimine, she contributed to high-pressure team coordination.

Beyond Sensha-do, Taeko enjoys white clovers and prefers all M4 Sherman variants. She has a younger brother, celebrates her birthday on August 26, and her name combines "妙" (tae, "exquisite/mystery") and "子" (ko, "child"), while "Kondou" derives from "近" (near) and "藤" (wisteria).
