Beneath his composed grace and refined manners lies formidable ambition. Kenshin seeks to unify the fractured world and end the chaos of the Battle Spirits Warring Era, wielding his dueling skills to restore peace. He scouts rivals like Musashi before entering the national Warring States Championship alongside teammates Kagetora Koshirakawa and Kagekatsu Fujishiro. Kenshin carves through the tournament bracket, securing victories against Kanetsugu Houryokuin, Jinjirou Shikahara, and Hanzou Hyakki. His duel with Hanzou highlights a clash of ideologies; Hanzou battles purely for enjoyment, while Kenshin fights to end the era's turmoil. This win propels him to the semi-finals.

Facing Yukimura Rekka next, Kenshin shares his ultimate goal: defeating Dairokuten Maou. He summons his key spirit, The SengokuSixGeneral Senryuukaku, and unleashes its Soul Drive ability to seize the advantage. Yet Yukimura's strategic card draws recover Burning-Souldragon, leading to Senryuukaku's destruction and Kenshin's defeat.
