Takashi Kondō is a Japanese voice actor born on May 12, 1979, in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture. He is a graduate of the Amusement Media Academy and is currently affiliated with the talent agency AMBERnote, having previously been represented by Vi-vo. Kondō began his career in 1999 and has since built a extensive body of work across anime, video games, and dubbing.

Kondō's first major breakthrough role came in 2005 when he was cast as Train Heartnet, the protagonist of the television anime series Black Cat. This performance helped establish him in the industry. He gained significant popularity and recognition for his role as the disciplined and powerful Kyoya Hibari in the long-running series Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, a character he voiced from 2006 onward. His work on the series extended to music, as a character single released under the name Hibari reached high positions on the Oricon charts.

Kondō has demonstrated considerable range throughout his career, taking on a wide variety of character types. He voiced the stoic and cool-headed Hayato Hayama in the My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU series, a role he has played since 2013 and reprised for its climax in 2020. He also portrayed Avilio Bruno, the protagonist seeking revenge in the gritty mafia drama 91 Days. In the franchise world, he has played Subaru Sakamaki in the Diabolik Lovers series and Suigetsu Hozuki in the Naruto: Shippuden anime. He is also the voice behind characters in several idol-themed multimedia projects, such as Torao Mido in IDOLiSH7 and Mutsuki Kururugi in I★CHU. The year 2021 was particularly busy, with roles including Keisuke Tsukidate in Backflip!! and Huey the elf in Dragon Goes House-Hunting.

In addition to his prolific anime work, Kondō is a highly prominent voice in the video game industry. He is most famously the Japanese voice of the iconic fighting game character Terry Bogard, taking over the role starting with The King of Fighters XIV in 2016 and continuing in subsequent titles like The King of Fighters XV, Street Fighter 6, and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. He also has long-running roles in the Guilty Gear series, providing the voices for both Faust and Potemkin. Other notable game credits include Ludger Will Kresnik in Tales of Xillia 2, Infinite in Sonic Forces, and Ororon in Genshin Impact.

Kondō's work also extends to voice-over for foreign films and TV series, known as dubbing. He has provided the Japanese voice for actors such as Alexander Skarsgård in True Blood, John Francis Daley in Bones, and Sam Claflin in Their Finest, among many others. He is also active in the world of drama CDs, frequently appearing in series such as Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi, where he plays Ritsu Onodera.
