OVA
Description
Fuuto Asahina, the twelfth son of the Asahina family, is a 14-year-old junior high student balancing academics with a demanding career as a popular idol. He performs under the stage name Asakura Fuuto, frequently appearing in television shows, commercials, and concerts, which limits his time at the family home. Professionally acclaimed for exceptional dancing, Fuuto harbors a deeper passion for acting. He actively studies film performances to refine his craft and aspires to transition from idol work to a serious acting career, though he voices concerns about the timing and feasibility of this shift.

Publicly, Fuuto projects a charming, polished image, but privately displays arrogance, a sharp tongue, and a tendency to belittle others, particularly his older brothers Yusuke and Tsubaki, whom he views with open disdain. His interactions often involve manipulative or teasing behavior, especially directed at his stepsister Ema. He deliberately flirts with her, makes provocative comments, and engineers situations to be alone with her, such as demanding she visit his room in a bunny costume after seeing her attire at a school festival. Despite this antagonistic facade, he demonstrates acute perceptiveness, noting subtle emotional shifts in others.

Fuuto's relationship with Ema evolves across the series. Initially dismissive, he gradually develops genuine romantic feelings, leading to significant internal conflict. In a pivotal incident, he attempts to assault her while she sleeps but halts upon realizing the act would betray his true emotions and irrevocably damage their relationship, underscoring his struggle between possessiveness and authentic care. Later, he provides emotional support when Ema learns she is adopted, finding her in distress and offering uncharacteristically sincere comfort. He reassures her of her place in the family, holds her hand, and escorts her home, revealing a more vulnerable and protective side. In the OVA, his fantasy sequence depicts a heartfelt confession to Ema, further indicating the depth of his feelings.

His dynamics with his brothers are fraught with rivalry, particularly with Yusuke. Fuuto openly mocks Yusuke's crush on Ema, provokes physical confrontations, and exploits his idol status to publicly humiliate him. He reserves milder disdain for Kaname, rejecting comparisons to his appearance, while considering Louis his favorite brother due to Louis's non-intrusive nature.

Beyond his career and relationships, Fuuto exhibits academic competence, maintaining high grades despite his busy schedule, and demonstrates meticulousness and keen observational skills, such as spotting Ema in a large concert crowd. His personal preferences include a fondness for Ema's cooking (though he dislikes overly meat-heavy dishes), an affinity for the colors orange, pink, and grey, and an admiration for tigers. After high school, he relocates to Los Angeles to pursue acting and adopts a black cat, reflecting a softer, more independent aspect of his character.
